Warp Stabilizer errors

Fix Warp Stabilizer reanalysis errors

The Batch Video Stabilizer extension can reanalyze multiple clips when Premiere reports that Warp Stabilizer requires re-analysis. This guide covers messages about saved analysis data and project formats.

Check the project first

If the warning says Frame not analyzed or New frames need analyzing, follow the missing frame analysis guide. The steps below focus on reanalysis messages caused by saved data or project-format changes.

A Warp Stabilizer message can appear when saved analysis is damaged or comes from a different project format. Save a separate copy of the project before making changes. Confirm that the source media is online and the intended sequence is open.

Test one affected clip directly in Premiere. If its analysis cannot complete there, adding more clips to a queue will not resolve the underlying issue. Read the exact message rather than treating every warning as the same problem.

Vakago Tools describes the common messages in How to fix “Warp Stabilizer requires re-analysis”.

Queue clips with existing Warp Stabilizer

  1. Open Batch Video Stabilizer and turn on Re-analyze already analyzed clips.
  2. Turn off Add Warp Stabilizer if not present. Clips without the effect are skipped.
  3. Leave custom settings off if you want to retain each effect’s current values.
  4. Start with Max parallel analyses set to 1.
  5. Select the timeline clips that need reanalysis, click Add selected clips and start the queue.

You can select all relevant video clips in a sequence to refresh the batch. Reanalysis also repeats completed work on those queued effects, so use a narrower selection when only a few clips need attention.

Include stabilization inside nests

If the Warp effect lives on a clip inside a nested sequence, enable Recursively add nested clips to queue before adding the selection. Reanalysis must be on for this option to be available.

Inner clips need to contain Warp Stabilizer already. The option collects existing work inside nests; it does not apply a new effect throughout the nested sequence.

Check the result before continuing

After the queue finishes, inspect failed and skipped clips separately. Play the clips after reanalysis and check the crop and stabilization. A finished queue means processing has ended; it does not confirm that every clip succeeded.

If a clip still fails, try it alone and read the failure message. Missing media, unsupported effect combinations and persistent native analysis errors need to be handled in Premiere.

Enable Save project if you want the extension to attempt a save after completion. Export your finished video through Premiere’s export controls.

The same task in the legacy version

For Premiere releases before 25.6, use Batch Analysis for Warp Stabilizer. In that panel, enable Reanalyze all clips in queue and disable adding Warp Stabilizer to clips without it.

Use the legacy guide for installation and version differences, or the UXP settings guide for the current option names and defaults.
